Project Narrative
Tanzende Türme (Dancing Towers) by BRT Architekten is a pair of leaning glass-and-steel office towers at Hamburg's Reeperbahn, completed in 2012. The 85m and 75m towers each tilt up to three metres from the vertical, creating the silhouette of a dancing couple. The double-skin glazing system in the superstructure features custom hurricane-proof deflection panes and a programmable LED lighting facade. The complex houses offices (Strabag, Diageo), a 23rd-floor Sky Bar, and the underground Mojo Club music venue.
