Project Narrative
The DC Water Headquarters is a curvilinear curtainwall system which incorporated a number of computational analysis tools during the design process in order to optimize its geometry for solar control, daylight control, and energy efficiency. This was achieved by installing a series of planar module curtain wall panels at varying degrees to simulate a curvilinear path, while utilizing different glazing and tinting strategies. This building is LEED Platinum certified.
