Project Narrative

Castellana 66 (2023 renovation, Madrid) integrates 1,668 m² of BIPV crystalline silicon glass facade by Onyx Solar — generating 175 kWp and covering ~25% of building energy. The ventilated facade combines BIPV glass panels, triangular aluminium honeycomb (LARCORE/Alucoil) projections and Dekton ceramic cladding, providing integrated solar shading and energy generation. The renovation achieved LEED Platinum v4 O+M and WiredScore Platinum, cutting energy use 55% vs baseline and saving >100 tCO2e/year.
