Description / Additional Information

Describe the key innovation and technology aspects of the project

Project Narrative

Apple Park's defining innovation is its entirely glazed perimeter — over 3,000 cold-bent curved glass panels (up to 14.3m×3m) by Seele/Sedak wrap the 1.6km ring building, a world record for largest architectural curved glass. 1,616 white glass canopies per floor provide solar shading and drive passive natural ventilation through open perimeter walkways, eliminating HVAC for 9 months/year. World's largest naturally ventilated building. 100% renewable energy. LEED Platinum.
