Project Narrative
Twin 25-storey towers with the world's largest kinetic building facade: 1,049 computer-controlled GRP mashrabiya panels per tower, inspired by traditional Islamic lattice screens. Actuated every 15 min in response to sun position via linear motors, the triangular panels fold and unfold like origami — reducing solar gain and glare while preserving views. CTBUH Innovation Award 2012.
